Just popping in to say hello, Seed, & to see how you're getting along today.
So, you actually feel ready to leave hospital (apart from been thoroughly sick of it, I'm sure)? I'm glad to hear you'll be staying with your mother when you do leave. Take it very easy & be good, OK? Wink Smile

@Seed,
home today Seed - now, do as ya MaMa says and don't lift a finger for a wee while - give those ribs a chance to heal. Let your folks care of you for a bit a?

the thing is Seed, nobody likes you including your parents, perhaps a homeless shelter will take you in.

@Seed,
On the bright side, this means you get to be hooked up to the morphine drip longer.

Why are the folks chatting with the doc without you? You got a head injury you didn't tell us about?

@Seed,
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Confused

yep, get the docs to talk to you Seed

perhaps the docs are explaining to your folks what sort of care you need when you get back home and perhaps being in the hospital would be more restful for you right now

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

how are you feeling today hun?

<call those docs in Seed!>

I don't know what it up honestly. I did not have a head injury other then a bump on the head which the doctors said it wasn't anything to worry about.

The only thing I can think of is something is wrong with my blood test that they took.

@Seed,
I find it odd the doc is not talking to you first, Seed - in my experience they tell little to even spouses of a patient because of patient privacy. Are you under 21?
Perhaps this varies from place to place.

@ossobuco,
No I was wrong. Sorry to worry you all. It was my father's doctor talking to my parents. WHen they said three more days here in the hospital I took it to assume that they were talking to me. Apparently one of the ribs is broken and in the night an edge cut something inside of me. They have to go in and stop some internal bleeding.

Strange that wasn't picked up earlier. They did Xrays?
Anyway, sorry to hear this Seed. I think you'd better be patient, this might take a while to properly heal.

So how are you feeling today?

Sending some virtual chicken soup... Hope you get better quickly. Broken ribs are a bitch. I broke a few 20 years ago and I still suffer, mind you I didn't go to the docs, nothing they could do anyhow.
