The russians and chinese have the best way to execute someone. They fire a bullet up through the back of the brain pan into the frontal lobes. It is a close as is possible to instant death. But the bleeding hearts amongst us are sqeamish about life.

Note that it is not the prisoner, but the death warrant that is executed: by killing the prisoner.

To execute means to follow out, or to carry out.
If the prisoner were not killed before he is executed, he 'll escape.

Ideally: u r supposed to aim for the medulla oblongata.
