It was inevitable. Christina appeared to be afraid of every animal she came in contact with.
I'm wondering whether Nigel is hooked up right. Jeff says that somebody's behavior would lead to death, and Nigel says that person was the best.
I'm also detecting an anti-Mike bias. He rarely singles Mike out, despite the fact that Mike always does well.
I'm also detecting a growing number of people who don't like Aletris. She is still getting on my nerves. But I'm convinced that she will win.
And what about the pony-tail animal guy. He steps in front of a charging tiger, and it stops dead in its tracks. They should make him King of the Jungle.

unfortunately I was only able to see the last 3 minutes however, someone was nice neough to tape it for me so...when I can get that tape and review it...I can chat with you about the particulars.
Funny that Aletris is getting on your nerves still, not more?

The thing I found of particular interest in last week's show was that Jeff was standing on the sidelines saying things like, "If that had happened in the wild, he'd be dead." Or, "You can't turn your back on a large cat." The tiger was "frisky" and went after a few people. Was it Jeremy who was chased around a tree? Yes, Jeremy. While Jeff was stating how poorly these folks were doing, Nigel was watching a whole different show. He applauded someone for reacting well to having his leg in the tiger's mouth. This is frustrating. And strange.
Tonight the previews show an alligator crating exercise. Talk to you manana.

I'm going to try to write something about last night's episode and not use dirty words. Or maybe I should wait until I've calmed down. No, I'll proceed.
I may be biased, but I thought Mike's presentation was one of the better ones. And it appeared that Jeff agreed with me. He provided context.
Nigel is a moron.

LOL
Yes, it does appear that Nigel just enforced his ability of total moronicness.
I was pretty upset that Ms. B actress didnt go but poor Mike did...I mean, she didnt even have the gator under good control AND is bad on camera.
SOOO unfair.
Was nice to see Aletris finally perk up a bit and smile and all that.
Now I really dont know who's going to win this.
Jeff was funny with the comments on the sidelines for this one too, I can imagine how he was with the tigers.

Hey, this sounds good. The problem I is remembering to watch. Could one of you remind me (PM me) when the show is going to be on?
And yeah, Jeff Corwin is a keeper in every way. Sigh....

Hi Diane, In this neck of the woods, it's on Mondays at 8. And then it pops up all over the place--Sundays at 9 or 10.
Quinn, For the first time, I thought that Aletris was really good. She didn't irritate me. All my irritation is focused on Nigel. Is he serious. A woman taking chances and mishandling a snake makes for good tv? John was tres arrogant. And if he's so afraid of and misinformed about cobras, why did he choose one? Not surprised he's gone.
BTW, I want a baby chimpanzee. Just thought I'd throw that in.
Also, during the screen test, the thing the folks were saying was that the great apes are gorillas, orang-utans, chimps, and bonobos. What happened to gibbons? Have they been reclassified and nobody told me? Also, I thought that bonobos were a subspecies of chimps.

Yeah, Sunday night I found the repeat of the Monday airing....which makes me nuts that I could have watched the tiger one anyway...blah.
Im glad blondie is gone..he was getting too big for his britches--and yeah, he deserved it.
What is with Nigel? I mean, we know he's irritating, and we know he thinks Kelly should go but..YES..whats with the bad snake handling making for good tv???
humm..dont know about the gibbons and posible reclassificationof bonobos...maybe thats why they just said bonobos were cousins, etc etc
Also..what happened to the tongue lashings that were on the previews????? I saw none...interesting.
And looks like another guy goes next week perhaps??? crazy stuff this reality tv with animals.

I did some checking. Gibbons are lesser apes--whatever that means. Sounds like discrimination to me. Bonobos are also called pygmy chimps, which suggests a subspecies.
Whadya mean a man is going next week? What did I miss?
I still can't believe that anyone in his right mind would chose to do a segment with a cobra. Only an expert stands a chance. A guess that's just an indication of how truly arrogant John was.

To be that arrogant and then not even go near it...dope.
It looked like the preview showed Nigel giving it good to a guy in the end...eh, who knows.

Yeah, that was Jeremy. They probably showed that just to throw us off.
I have to admit that this show would have been much better if there had been a better way to choose the winners and losers. Even a better, more rational, judge might have made a difference.
Sigh.

Ah well, Aletris is gone...sniff.
Again, Nigel picks the wrong reason for getting someone to go...bleeding from the treetops yeah, that always means the person is a quitter. Blah.
Adam should have gone. Gosh was he bad tonight.
Kelly didnt sound like a B Movie actress...WOW. I thought she finally showed some promise.
My only hope is for Jeremy.
Fingers crossing.

Hi Quinn, Yes, Nigel found the wrong reasons to pick Aletris. But, she was the only one who couldn't find all the animals. After Mike left, I was rooting for her too, so I'm disappointed.
I have to disagree with you about Kelly. She has yet to say anything substantive about anything--at all--whatsoever. Nothing. A tiger is lounging like a housecat. This is worth a tv show?
The two people who had the most interesting things to say were Aletris and Adam. This can only mean that Adam will be eliminated. So if it comes down to Jeremy and Kelly, I'm rooting for Jeremy.
BTW, I've tried very hard not to hold it against Kelly that she doesn't seem know her native language very well. But I'm becoming less able to ignore this. I'm such an old fuddy-duddy. Sorry.
I'm trying to figure out your new avatar. I don't know whether it's my eyes, my monitor, or a combination of the two. Is a bear with a wound? A shoe? A pig? This enquiring mind wants to know.

I also would be surprised for Kelly to go all the way here...her speaking drives me nuts too..I thought it was just me!
Yes, I agree, Adam will be out next and all we have is Jeremy----better than Kelly though.
Yep, when Aletris didnt find all of them and all the rest did, well I figured as much...bah.
You are correct-tis a bear. A wound? hehehehe. WOW. First its pizza now its a wounded bear. Funny!
It is a Native American Bear Fetish (Totem).

Aletris didn't find all the animals the first time either. That green tree frog thing was kinda strange. Maybe she just isn't good at finding animals in their natural habitats.
I'm fairly certain that Kelly will win. Why? I bet the producers want a woman. Good demographics. And of the three remaining, she's the one least qualified, so it stands to reason that Nigel will choose her.
A Native American Totem. Tres interesting. I'd bet a nickel, if I had one, that the red is a wound or blood of some kind. Did you always have that signature line? I like it a lot. It makes me smile and nod simultaneously.

Yep, I bet she does win...demographics and idocy combined make it hrd to ignore the statistics.
Heartline is the mark and its basically about strength so, I suppose yeah, could be wound related.
I added the bottom line last week I believe. Saw it on a TShirt whilst riding the train and thought it was fabulous myself. Tracked down the originator and put that quotation in full along with some other beauties at the end of my profile. They work.

So..miss Kelly wins.
One question--its only one special she gets...right?
Hopefully the others we will see again in the future, I really liked them, and quite a few of them actually.
