I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline

Got a freakin' call center in Pakistan

I told them I was suicidal.

They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.

Assholes.................

@ENFORCER,
I already know RiffTrax! Very Happy I have the Riff Traxes(?) for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Matrix, Iron Man, and Twilight.

I can be a very moody person and find it difficult to watch even movies when I'm depressed but MST3k always is a great pick me up.

And welcome to a2k ENFORCER! Good to have you here! Very Happy

@Bi-Polar Bear,
I called a suicide prevention line once, bi-polar. Got an automated response:

"Welcome to the psychiatric hot line. If you have obsessive-compulsive tendencies, press 'one' repeatedly. If you have co-depency issues, please ask someone to press 'two' for you. If you have multiple personality disorder, please press three, four, five and six. If you suspect you're schizzophrenic, wait for the little voice to tell you which number to press."

...and so on.

I think they were also located in Pakistan.

Drugs for Bipolar Disorder: Fewer Suicides?
Study Contradicts FDA, Finds Treatment Doesn't Raise Bipolar Suicide Risk
By Daniel J. DeNoon
WebMD Health NewsReviewed by Louise Chang, MDDec. 8, 2009 -- Last January, the FDA warned of increased suicide risk among patients treated with epilepsy drugs. But a new study finds fewer suicide attempts in patients with bipolar disorder.

Even though an outside panel of experts confirmed the link between suicide and treatment of bipolar disorder with antiseizure drugs, the panel voted against putting a strong "black box" warning on the drugs' labels.

Now an analysis of new data by University of Chicago researcher Robert D. Gibbons, PhD, and colleagues suggests that epilepsy drugs actually decrease the risk of suicide in patients with bipolar disorder
