Would you need a full time writer's assistant while you're in Italy? To carry your bags? To taste your food, just in case it may be poisoned?

I could hang onto your every word. That kind of assistance does wonders for a writer's ego!

Is there any money to be made from finding fingers ?

Lets say I "happened " across two from, oh, say, Caesar but they were in much better condition than Galileo's...what would they be worth ?
