@sozobe,
here in Ontario (Canada) we've had a 13 year old and a 9 year old die in the last two weeks, and a two month old last night

I heard about the 13 yr old, a healthy hockey player. His father said he walked to bathroom and a few minutes later he was dead. The father couldn't believe how fast it happened.

@Ceili,
the friday before the 13 year old died, Global National reported that around 40% of Ontarians had decided against getting the flu shot

that number had changed dramatically by beginning of the next week

@djjd62,
I'll bet. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get the shot. I'm hoping soon as I have asthma, but the clinics haven't got any at the moment. Out west we have to elbow our way through hockey players. They made sure to give it to all the denizens on East Hastings before the general public too. I'm guessing our resident crack addict and girlfriend could have been first in line.

@Ceili,
same here, it was announced tonight that the leafs and raptors jumped the queue

i figure i'm good, live rural, not in huge groups of people, the regular folk are looking at no shots until maybe december
