What is distinctive in the suggestopedic method is that they are devoted entirely to assisting recall. The 'learning' of the material is assumed to be automatic and effortless, accomplished while listening to music. The teacher's task is to assist the students to apply what they have learned paraconsciously, and in doing so to make it easily accessible to consciousness.

I looked up paraconsciously in the dictionary but found nothing. I wonder what it means?

Thank you.

@jinmin1988,
Both "suggestopedic" and "paraconsciously" are pseudoscientic attempts at coining neologisms (new words). The idea of "learning" without making a conscious effort has been around for ages, with aspects like "learning through play", "sleep learning " (ref: Aldous Huxley "Brave New World") and "subliminal perception" .

"para" is a prefix meaning "along side."
