@Green Witch,
Ditto.

@Roberta,
Yes - and he probably didn't want to look like a dumb a$$ and get voted out when he had the immunity idol. Also, as he said everyone knew he had the thing so he might as well use it.
One of the better episodes. Russell is serious about playing this game and it makes me happy.
@McGentrix,
I agree - I laughed my a$$ off when he brought out that immunity idol - they did not think it could be possible. I love Shambo's reaction and Jaison's.
I didn't like Russell at one time, but the damn a$$hole is growing on me. One of those people I can't help but love
Things are starting to get interesting!
I'm really starting to like Russell too. They made him out to be such a bully on the first few shows that I couldn't stand him. I'm glad they toned it down a bit. He certainly is a good player.
I can't believe he lost the challenge. He had that bag hooked and stood there smirking while Laura hauled hers in.
I'll bet Dave (?) gets murderized for talking them out of thinking Russell had the idol.
Now that the girl power alliance is broken up things will really start cooking.
@boomerang,
See the previews - everyone following Russell as he looks for the idol - what the h*ll are they going to do grab it from him or something? I thought wouldn't it be interesting if Russell had some one least suspecting like that girl on their team look for the idol with his guidelines....there'd all be following Russell while he brings them on a wild goose chase and the rest of that team could look where a smart guy like Russell would.
Dat Russell is playin' da game. He's growing on me.
This is becoming delicious.
Hint for Galu people. Instead of following Russell around, find the Idol on your own.
Joe(jes' saying)Nation
That was good!
I loved Russell just running away, getting Dave to follow him when Dave got too close to the idol. It looks like Russell will get devious next week. If he pisses everyone off but acts like he's still looking for the idol he'll force everyone's hand again!
I think John played the vote very, very well. He would never have flipped if they hadn't used him as bait.
Shambo should not have laughed about Laura; that always works against a player in the long run.
It's always hard to tell with the editing, but are any of the other foa foa people playing the game or just riding Russel's coat tails until he is no longer useful? It's hard to tell what the other players are doing when you have one or two dominate players that the TV people know will get higher ratings.
Best Survivor of All Time.
The four Faos are tight, they are following Russell's lead, but only because he fits so well into their plan. He says it out loud at the tribal meetings: The four of them are looking for that fifth person. A guaranteed alliance of five against an alliance with loosey goosey ties and clueless (no pun intended) leadership. The Galu people continue to astound me with their arrogance. Nobody asks John how he feels about having a target put on him. Wow. No wonder he flips after the tie.
Now they will have not five, but six. Goodbye little brunette woman.
Meanwhile, nobody knows Russell has the idol again. hehe he he.
Joe(Natalie!! What a trooper in that swing!)Nation
@McGentrix,
I think they're just riding his coat tails. He told Jaison exactly what kind of rock to look under and Jaison looked under every other kind of rock but the right kind. At first I thought he would be a real contender but I don't think that at all anymore.
It would be kind of fun to see it all come down to Russell and Shambo. I can't wait until they have to turn on each other!
@Joe Nation,
Natalie totally rocked that challenge.
Why did the other team choose John to be in the swing? You would think they would have selected someone lighter, more agile, with longer limbs.
@McGentrix,
I do know that Natalie was instrumental in getting the other team to vote off Eric - she was talking with Laura and doing the girly thing while saying I don't trust Eric. I think Natalie is alot stronger and clever than you see on the surface - that is what makes her a bit of dangerous player - she is also pretty strong in challenges.
@Joe Nation,
I wonder how much went on that we don't see. Could Russell had convinced John by showing and/or offering him the idol?
I agree - how stupid for them to just say lets not tell John we are throwing him under the bus until the last minute instead of suggesting it to John first and seeing how he feels about it. Can't blame the guy - they stabbed Eric in the back and then they want to use John to save Laura.
I wonder, would it be possible to use the hidden idol on the revote after a tie?
@McGentrix,
I don't think so - Jeff never said that - I was wondering the same thing as well.
Russell has never, not for one moment, stopped playing the game.
He's not cold or hungry or anything but playing the game.
Natalie is my other favorite.
Not too sure after that.
Russell's alliance will have to turn on him at some point in order to have a chance at winning.
John, the rocket scientist, has already crunched the numbers and realized that he will need to move against Russell in the future if he has any chance of getting to the final four. Unless he really believes that Russell will turn on his own foursome.
Thank you, Russell, for making this a season worth watching. You really are the idol magnet.
I cannot forgive Russell for calling the women stupid throughout the first two shows. I do admit running away to move the other guy away from the rocks was great.
I've given up on Jaison. I thought he would have won a bunch of immunity challenges by now and worked out more strategy (he's a law student and former athlete for Pete's sake), but he just sort of floats along with the group vibe. I like Mick, he's my new favorite, and Natalie has proven herself to be more than a cute little blonde in a bikini. I think Shambo will turn on Russell soon.
