When my previous cat died, I just presumed another cat would find me - they always had before.

But....nothing. I had to go on the hunt for the Possum-cat!

I'll hunt next year. Lucky you and lucky Possum....

... plus the occasional dead mouse of course. Dys's diet would be just way too unbalanced without it.

OK it's dilemma time, kitten (Lady Diane calls him Roger). has been living in the garage for 4 days, does not leave the garage except to the front yard for "business." Seems very healthy and begs for attention, eats well. Lady Diane has been going to call the no kill shelter for 3 days but can't seem to find the time. This kitten really needs a family/attention and is not an outdoor cat (like Garage is). Lady Diane is allergic and requires a shot every week as it is (could be worse with another cat. I'm guessing Roger is about 2 months old.
I have pics, may post tomorrow.

It's name is Roger. It is going to a shelter. I'm having mixed feelings about all this.

I'd love to take it, but if anything, I'm more allergic than Lady Diane is (and I've had enough of allergy shots and asthma). Hmmm. Oh, Roger......???

Well, if it's any consolation, they're talking "no kill" shelter. (Just think, Roger -- if you took it in and were calling it, the neighbours would just think you're talking to yourself!)
