I've read the Bible cover to cover many times, and never seen anything I felt was an indication that he has a sense of humor from the text itself but have seen many people claim he has a sense of humor based on what they believe he created (such as the platypus, humans, etc).
God's not laughing now, he just caused me to lose my first response.

I was wondering if somewhere in the bible, which I read but not perused, it was hinted that god has a sense of humor.
So an immortal being comes along and divinely inspires a book (or maybe several books) and drop it into hands of some local yokels who still think the sun is a flaming chariot crossing the sky. Then having left not a trace of his own existence on even the tiniest molecule anywhere on the planet he slips away and never returns, leaving the locals to try to make sense of the *book* as an incongruity to the world around them. Pretty funny if you ask me.

Psalm 59:7 See what they spew from their mouths-- they spew out swords from their lips, and they say, "Who can hear us?" 8 But you, O Lord, laugh at them; you scoff at all those nations. Psalm 2:4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs. Just look in the mirror of course. Anyone can get in on the joke being played.

It seems self-evident to me that, whether or not your boy god has a sense of humor, his followers don't.
