Confucius, a famous Chinese educationalist, said "If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two is good enough to be my teacher."

I wonder if you can understand this translation completely.

oh, I forgot to post the meaning of this translation, it means one of the other two at least has a forte which is worth you learning.

Which one would you prefer?
1.If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two is good enough to be my teacher.
2.If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two can teach me something.
3.If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two has a forte which is worth me learning.

I'm just wondering, Jinmin whether the saying in Chinese is, grammatically personal. By this I mean, is it almost like a direct quote or is it a direct quote of Confucius.

It is a direct quote of Confucius. But I do't know what type of translation which can make you understand it easily.
