Shall I say that supermarket such as Walmart is a kind of shopping center?

WalMart is frequently, [always???] found within a shopping center but by itself, I wouldn't say that it's a shopping center, Jinmin.

I think the best term for it would be "department store".

WalMarts seem to be heading towards being "department stores" like the ones in Japan, [and maybe other countries in SE Asia] a combination of department store and grocery store.
