Which make better indoor pets: dogs or cats?

Dogs usually keep me paranoid that I might lose them while on a walk.
A gps dog tracker would be great, but I dunno where to find one.

But yeah, in my experience, dogs are usually more outdoors compared to cats.

@JeannieDW,
Well since dogs aren't strictly indoor animals... unless you can provide at least a hour of outside play per day and take the dog out 4x a day to potty, the point is moot.
