Contract dispute?

He was holding back because he wanted to be traded to a better team?

@Ticomaya,
Yeah, but I heard their manager was cold and unfeeling.
Almost robotic.

prince fielder just made a big fat baserunning error...

@Region Philbis,
I like the giants more than the tigers. a little.

but I thought the tigers would put up a fight...

I'm okay with Zito getting another ring.

but I say melky gets one, too...

2-0 giants.

I won't get to see the end, gotta go back to work...

Incredible, Detroit was shut out again.

The Giants are the first team since the 1966 Baltimore Orioles (against the Los Angeles Dodgers) to throw consecutive shutouts in the World Series. The last NL team was the 1919 Cincinnati Reds (who probably had some help against the infamous Black Sox).

@Region Philbis,
Not to be a Debby-Downer but this is the first World Series where I never watched it at all. I'm not sure if it's just a case of that I had no dog in the fight. I seem to have become more of a football fan these days.
