be interesting to see if he stays in and pitches.

he would not be my choice if they do indeed tie it up...

still gotta plate 2 to keep playing first.

@Region Philbis,
If it's Carpenter against what's his Harrison, my money is on a squirrels blowout.

can't remember a series with this poor of fielding. errors abound...

@Ragman,
the way he's not been swinging the bat, that actually improves the cards...

@Rockhead,
Yeah! I hear that his replacement (Adron Chambers) is hitting well enough in playoffs.

@Ragman,
Oops..I just heard where it's Allen Craig who is a far better hitter - 245 for the playoffs with 3 HRs - .267 for WS.

@Region Philbis,
After game 6, "anti-climactic" was a sure thing.

@CowDoc,
It was a disappointing end for those of us cheering for the Rangers.

After watching Texas walk in two runs, it was post-apocalyptic for me. Crying or Very sad

But I thought it was a great series none-the-less.

Punk'd! Freed prisoner told Mets won all

After being freed following a nearly five-month stint in an Egyptian jail during that country's uprising,
Queens native Ilan Grapel received interesting news: The New York Mets won the World Series during
his isolation.

The misinformation was a joke played by Rep. Gary Ackerman, according to the New York Post.

In a news conference in Tel Aviv following his release, the newspaper reports, Grapel said: "There's so
many people to thank, and after being cut off for the past five months ..."

At that point, the Post reports, Ackerman chimed in: "We told him the Mets won the World Series."

Grapel, a 27-year-old U.S.-Israeli citizen, was freed Thursday in a prisoner swap between Israel and Egypt.

@Region Philbis,
"Ha ha! We were just ******* with you. Because you spent five months being sprayed with a hose and then beaten with a split bamboo reed. Hilarious!"
