@Sturgis,
Whomever comes out of that series, Sturgis? I hope they get bruised and beat up. Let's go Red Sox!

@edgarblythe,
I won't even encourage the SF Giants, because they are a lost cause. Now 40 games behind.

the red sawx won it all in 2004, .and then again in 2007... 3 years apart.

they won again in 2013... so now here we are -- it's 2017... 4 years apart.

3 , 4

34 = david ortiz uni number.

ergo | ipso-facto, the sawx will win it all again this year...

@Region Philbis,
They didn't have Jadevon Clowney and James Hardin to contend with when they won.

@Region Philbis,
It's hard to put down some teams, no matter the circumstance.

@edgarblythe,
One of the country's most popular baseball team is the Chicago Cubs. joefromchicago took me to a game at Wrigley Field, and when he visited California, I took him to a game in San Francisco between the Giants and Cubs. The Cubs won. Many wonder why the Cubs is so popular, when they're not even a winning team. They say it's because of WGN and Wrigley Field.
In a past life, many, many decades ago after I graduated from high school, I worked at a rubber stamp company on Grove Street one block from Wrigley Field. I was too poor to attend games back then, but remember when they had games, the shouting could be heard in our offices.

The cost of tickets to sit where we sat at Wrigley Field costs $283 bucks today.

There seems to be some seats in that general area closer to 1st base for $70.

@cicerone imposter,
My first baseball game was in San Francisco. I watched the Giants play the Astros. Willie Mays hit a home run. The only other games I've attended were Astros in the Astrodome. I saw Pete Rose play his last Astrodome game.

@edgarblythe,
You're lucky. You at least saw some memorable players.
