I'm 20, lol, and there's some things on that list that I haven't done yet.

Try my best to finish it.

How about you?

I've done those, but I can think of 2 that aren't on there.

Have a one night stand with someone gorgeous. Don't talk to them ever again, don't call them, don't give them your phone number. Just go out, zone in, and seal the deal. Then walk away.

Quit your job. It is also OK to let your boss know what an a$$ he is before walking out. Everyone is so worried about careers and such, but right before I went to college I told my jerk boss right where he could stick it. Fabulous.

Sugar, you and I would get along just fine! I am happy to say I did both of those, although I did miss out on some of the first list.

I'm turning 48 in a few weeks and don't worry- getting old is not as bad as it...what was I saying? Oh, yeah. Getting old is not as bad as it seems. Increased nose and ear hair, and joint stiffness more than make up for loss of vitality and decreased libido. And doesn't that gray hair lend a distinguished look? (*cough*hack*)

ONE THING IS FOR SURE: but I forgot what it is.

I'm being completely sarcastic with you safecracker, as I am sure you know Laughing Actually, we are planning a 40's theme for his birthday. He didn't take to my suggestion of barbed-wire party zones for people of different ethnicities (our family is Jewish). However, he did snicker, knowing I was not serious, and I inherited my sick sense of humour from him. I have half the menu planned, but let me tell you, a lot of recipes from the 40's suck. Laughing

Yeah, I will have to improvise. I have been testing some stuff with canned foods, according to tradition, but they are all horrid, despite my tweaking skills. I think I am on the right track though. There is no choice....we must rebuild Germany, umm, the menu. Laughing to bring it into the modern world.

Hey cav...don't forget my mother's favorite Depression-era dish...

Butter and sugar sandwiches. (ouch)
On white bread. (boo, hiss)
Cut off the crusts. (stop screaming)

Shall I give you instructions? (hee hee!)
I really did eat these when I was a child. Obviously, mom never forgot them from her own childhood. And to think, I feel guilty when I get a Happy Meal for my kid!!!

My fave was quitting my job just before turning 30. I was fully conscious that I didn't want to work there indefinitely, and I was right in guessing that such a personal revolt would be harder to do as I got older. Boy, was I right...
