@Cycloptichorn,
I will follow tonight's game with mixed emotions.
Maybe if Miami won 3-0 . . .

Well, Osso........looks like the Scampers are gonna have to live with the bad reputation of tromping on and squashing small, loveable, cuddly, furry, and cute little animals........kind of like a Michael Vick thing..........But cringe in fear, the Mighty Gerbils will rise again!!

Another decent point week for Scaupers. Eighty eight. Better then ten teams in league. ,...but I had the neat luck of both my kickers having bye weeks. With being down to Foxfyre by only five points and her New York Jets running back only having one point,..I'd of had this week if I had a kicker in.

I am finished.

You kept it really close Alex and at one point I thought you had me, especially when my best running back (with no advance notice) was benched with an injury and didn't play at all. The only thing that saved me was Williams being out of commission with an injury which probably sunk El Stud, and my good luck of Austin starting in his place. Austin had a phenomenal day. Otherwise you would have won easily since most of my other guys had miserable days.

But so goes the luck of the draw as it were.

Now is the next big question for the Cowboys: Did Williams lose his starting position to Austin?

Speaking as a Romo owner, I sure hope so.

Ronnie Brown blew the Scroops out of the water all by himself.
21 yards passing (yes, passing)
74 yards rushing
6 yards receiving (yeah, yeah, I know)
2 touchdowns

He also sold 40 boxes of popcorn and sang the National Anthem.
OK, I made that last part up.

Meanwhile the the Jets D went paws up.
Total fanasy points: -1.

I knew Brown would never get those other 4 passing yards for a point. I was screamin at the TV for the dude to run a little farther...

The Projected Fantasy Points in the match-ups this week:
Johnboy (96) - Cyclo (89) (I am counting on Ben to outperform)
Tico (87) - George (74)
Fox (77) - McGentrix (89)
Alex (68) - Jespah (73)
Rhyss (73) - JPinMilw (88)
ElStud (67) - Fbaezer (86)
Mysteryman (50) - Osso (80)

Did yall know that you can go to the Matchups and vote (anonymously) on who you think will win? About 4 of us do that each week.

@realjohnboy,
You really think that both Ben and Mendenhall will get 16 points each?

Cleveland does suck but that's a tall order to fill.

I on the other hand need Rodgers to have an awesome game - just to match the projections. I hate that.

@Cycloptichorn,
I am thinking Ben will get more like 20. Mendenhall: 16 seems steep to start with and he missed practice Thurs due to an "illness." 22 for Rogers seems a tad high.

Mendenhall has the Flu, that could be gotten over quick or slow, I dunno. I'd be more worried about Willie Parker being promised to get back in the game in red zone situations personally.

22 isn't crazy for Rodgers, hell, he made 21 2 weeks ago against a MUCH better defense, and Detroit is terrible against the pass. His front line has had a starter return as well, so maybe he won't get sacked so damn much.

@Cycloptichorn,
I picked up Parker a couple of weeks ago when he was still recovering. I hope I can remember to check to see which of them will get the nod for the bulk of the ops.

I have a couple of sites which are great at updating injury reports and the like during the week.

Remind me to send them to you in January Twisted Evil

@realjohnboy,
I held onto McFadden last year when he was "recovering" from turf toe. He never did.

(What I didn't realize, was that he was also suffering from a chronic case of suckitis.)

Hmmm. I see the names of who voted for me and who voted for my opponent. How anonymous is that? I have wondered though if you get points or merits or something if you vote correctly?

@Foxfyre,
Could be, Fox. In my current match with Cyclo I see 2 votes for each of us. No identification. Maybe I am not pushing the right button. I can go back to last week and see who were the fools who thought I would win. I didn't win.

You can only see who voted after the week is over; it's anonymous before that.
