@Ticomaya,
Are you gonna play him next week?

@Foxfyre,
Ouch, Fox! That was mean. Romo scored 26 FP while sitting on Tico's bench.
NPR will, I believe, have a story on this evening, probably on All Things Considered about Fantasy Football. Specifically about the increasing number of women who play.
Estimates are that some 20 million people play and Yahoo believes 14% are women. Some play in women only leagues while others play in mixed leagues comprised of co-workers.
Anecdotal evidence suggests women players spend less time moving players around and yes, some women admit to picking players based on the guy's looks. But only if their favored players are not available.

Wouldn't have made much of a difference this week. Had I played him, I'd only lose to Cyclops by 22+ instead of 41+.

@realjohnboy,
Weeeeeelllll, okay. Maybe just a wee bit mean. Smile (hugs Tico)

I do want everybody to take note of the Hoot Owls shining moment as #1 in the league. Given my lack of depth on the bench, the high likelihood that Brees won't turn in a 37 pt performance every week, and that the outstanding performance from some of my scrubs was probably a fluke, the Owls many never be there again. But for now, it's sweet. Smile

@realjohnboy,
Dammit, I missed taking Sanchez. Oh well. Good luck with him, Chargers.

@ossobuco,
The reason I grabbed him is after watching him this weekend, he impressed the hell out of me.
I hope he does that good this week.

@realjohnboy,
I had no choice.
My starting TE is out with a knee injury, the Miami defense sucked big time, and I needed some WR's who could actually catch.

And having the Miami defense vs your Indy QB Peyton next Monday would be tough!

@realjohnboy,
I also have the INDY defense.
I didnt want to pit the two defenses against each other in the same game.

@mysteryman,
I am playing MM. He has the Indy QB and the Indy defense? Let's see. Can I hope for an outbreak of swine flu in Indy this week?

They definitely re-balanced the projections today; I looked this morning, and the matchup between myself and Small town was projected at 95-91.

I played him and, of course, I should have played the other guy.
I'll stick with him this week, though.

I went to the "Matchup Ratings" page of the yahoo site.
For Matt Cassell, it said "Look for the Pats to come out firing at home and
Falcons have only 1 real pass rusher."
Didn't boost my confidence in their ratings.
