I agree with RG. If you take some personal responsibility you may improve your lot in life. You ask for advice at times, but do not seem to follow through. Police, for the most part, serve the people well and attempt to protect the public and property. It is irresponsible for you to make such blanket statements of ill-will towards all police. As in any profession there are bad apples, but for the most part, it's a thanklesss job that's done pretty well.

yesterday a cop flipped out on me, for tying my dog to a fence, at 10 at night..

for literally the time it takes to go up two stairs, and tell my cousin im going to drop my dog off and come back to use his phone.
and walk back down.

petrified. terrified, horrified.

i felt like he was gonna beat me down, taze me and whatnot.
just for walking my dog at the wrong time.

i didnt even say anything.

i swear it was so intense, my hand was in my pocket in a weird angle ( i thought i was done for) and i remember inching by him not trying to move anything but my feet. like a puppy about to get beat down with a metal pipe or something, like absolute terror and helplessness.


it was just the rage on his face, even with sunglasses (wow sunglasses at night, thats safe!) ******* douchebags..

the malice... the kind the rookies try to imitate..

all i really know of american police is what i've seen on cops

never had a hard time from a canadian cop, even when i've clearly been breaking the law (open alcohol on a city street), the guy told me he was gonna have to ticket me, asked me how full the beer was, when i said half, he said, finish it up and throw the can away (this was before recycling)

here we had closed containers on our way to the spot downtown where we can drink, and they follow us all the way there

even better, about six months after the beer incident, i had to go to the police station to give evidence about an incident involving a buddy who ended up in the hospital after a beating, as i was leaving the desk sergeant asked me if i'd ever lived at such and such an address, and when i said yes, he asked me i realized i had a warrant for an unpaid ticket (the beer incident), they could have tossed my ass in jail, but the told me to make sure it was paid first thing monday (this was early sunday morning)

i was a criminal, i dont steal anymore. i dont have to.

drug use doesnt count as making someone criminal in my book, the laws about drugs are just so ******* idiotic.

my uncle was a police officer, when he worked for a number of years in a small city he arrested the same guy over and over again for petty theft, his mo, he'd steal a small item, then in a few days try to go back to the store and return it claiming to have lost the receipt, the guy always felt bad when he was caught and one day my uncle asked him if he felt bad when he stole stuff and didn't get caught, he said no, shoplifting is only a crime if you get caught

yeah dont count myself as being a criminal though because of it, im using my "freedom" to pursue happiness, as guaranteed by the consitution. the government is acting illegally, so how does that factor into all of this?

Also, I can't understand how one person can have so many daily interactions with police. I think back to when I was 21-25.and lived in an urban area. I almost never had a run-in with cops (while being a pedestrain). I did have run-ins when I was speeding. Boston was not a relaxed urbban area either.

Perhaps being convicted as guilty by everyone has put me into the state of mind that i AM guilty,well, i dont think im guilty, i know im innocent... i will recieve the punishment..i didnt do something wrong but ill pay for it anyways.so im in the state of mind im gonna get punished regardless of my actions..(so why not break the rules if im paying the price already?)
