So did you guys hear? Acclaimed film star Michael Jefferson, best known for his starring role in the blockbuster smash Space Jam, has died of a heart attack at his ranch.

A lesser known piece of his biography is his stint as a professional bucketball player for the Chicago Bears. You might say Mr. Jefferson was many-talented.

I've yet to comb "the net" for the specific circumstances of his death; I just wanted to be the first to inform you.

Have a great day.

Southpark references aside, Michael Jackson was the one who died. The lead role in Spacejam was played by Michael Jordan, a famous basketball player.

So Mr. Jefferson has finally moved on up to that deluxe apartment in the sky, huh. I hope Florida meets him with a nice pie.

What a pity - I used to love that show he was in about the "Dee-lux apartment in the Sky-y-y".

Not surprising.
Looking at the threads you've been in, none of them have had any sort of humor in them.

I guess you're a more serious minded individual.

This is probably one of the saddest moments from tv when I was a kid....Martin Lawrence has used the Damn x3 thing several times over the years....and each time I knew it was coming....and just couldn't laugh much.

@chai2,
Yeah, and it has become a cliche of sorts....

Anyway, does anybody remember the episode when Mr. Bently tried to sell Penny {played by a young Latoya Jackson} to a prostitution ring, and Bookman held a talent contest to raise money to buy her back....Aunt Ester won the top prize by singing a Pat Boone song.
