Just a matter of time – I’ve lost it/insanity

As to kids working - did you read what I wrote?!! My kids are not teens - they are 6 - 10.

We have a variable rate loan - we also have reasons (that I would prefer not to go into) that we cannot re-finance currently.

I think I can handle the finance side of things seeing I have an Masters in Economics and a BS in Finance and work in the financial services industry. I am more than qualified to budget home finance.

Condescension pisses me off....

Well I didn't win the lottery, but some good news. I gave a $1 donation (oh no Chumpy is gonna say I shouldn't spent that $1) to the Jimmyfund with the donation they give you a scratch ticket where you can win money or other stuff - I won some free sponages! Yeah me!

Oh he doesn't know anything - he just thinks he does - so that is what makes it so funny.

I do agree with you that variable rate loans are not usually a good thing - we have one as we plan to sell in so many years so it made sense with the rate cut off and stuff.

You know your situation better than me.

But I'm an idiot if I don't blindly take your advice!

We had another Meerkat Manor day here today (people popping up and down in their cubes to see who's being escorted out). As usual, I lowered my chair and thought of The Goddess Linkat.

The least stressful part of most days lately has been driving in rush-hour traffic.

Gosh I feel for you -

Rumors are that there could be more this June after reviews are done and merit increases (or lack there of) - I know I will not get an increase - no one at my level or above is - not complaining though.

Normally I do not listen to rumors, however, in the past year or so, more of the rumors have been proven true.

There are several "process" improvements and stuff going on 2 different companies and a "span of control" focus whereby our roles could be changed.

I'm just doing my work and praying.
