Typography? I haven't even thought about it

I think the point is that some are amused/amazed that the creators of this show obviously never thought about the type used in props either....given how fastidious they are. Ooops

@hawkeye10,
I guess that's a fair enough point if you're really into typography.

@msolga,
But, then again...... Mad Men is set in an advertising agency, in which aspects of 6os technology could be expected to be depicted accurately .....

@dlowan,
Yeah. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the typography bugs the hell out of people working in advertising agencies. And sticklers for absolute accuracy. However, being neither of those ....

I'm so glad you posted to the other MadMen thread (which I'll also post to) , Deb ... because I'd had no success at all in locating this one, despite a number of Google & A2K searches ... frustrating.

I wanted to say that I eventually caved in and have bought series 3 & have begun watching it. Three episodes so far. (Still very good! Smile ) I got tired of waiting for SBS to broadcast it. Rumour has it that it will now be shown on cable rather than SBS, but I'm not 100% certain about that.

We're still big fans and well into season 4 now. Episode 4, season 4 is coming up Sunday night.

This season - finally - our cable provider carries AMC. For season 3 we had to rely on our daughter and s-i-l (well, almost our s-i-l) for next-day DVD delivery. They have a different cable provider. He's a real fan, my Nic, not so much.

Actually, if we had the patience to wait for it to come out on DVD, we'd actually prefer to either buy or rent the season and watch it in longer blocks, maybe two or three episodes at a time over the course of a couple of weeks. We enjoy it more that way.

Lots happening in season 3, Olga, so enjoy ...

Sunday's a big night for recording to DVD in the Mac household: Mad Men, True Blood, Durham County and a new AMC series that premiered a couple of weeks ago, called Rubicon.

@mckenzie,
Look who's here! Surprised

Lovely to see you again, Mac! Smile

OhMyGosh, you're into season 4! One day I'll catch up to you!
Is it as good as the previous 3? Do you have any idea if this is the last series or whether there'll be more, mac?

I am enjoying series 3, thanks. Up to episode 4 now.

A bit of indulgence.

That theme music ... da dum, da dum, da dum da dum, da da dum ...

Imprinted on my brain, I'm afraid!

Love the images in the opening credits, too ...
