Subject: Is Your Cardiologist Killing You?
www.orthomolecular.org/library/jom/1993/pdf/1993-v08n02-p089.pdf
This article is from 1993 - cardiology has come a long way since then,
besides, I have never heard of a cardiologist telling patients to eat margarine
instead of butter. They mostly hand over a diet plan pamphlet for the patient
to follow a sensible low fat diet.
Not having a cardiologist may also be a sign of better heart health statistically, than one who has a cardiologist. Naturally, one might not know one has undiagnosed heart problems. However, having a bent towards song can also be good for the heart, according to the old saying, "a song in one's heart."
There is also the emotional connection, aside from diet and exercise. That is hard for a doctor to prescribe: have good friends and family. If it was only that easy.
