PHYSICIANS' GRAMMAR: ITS THE IMMUNITY SYSTEM

The human body has a system which is concerned
with providing us immunity from bacterial or viral infections.
That is the IMMUNITY system, by virtue of its function.

We r forever hearing physicians refer to it as the "immune" system,
as tho to imply that our other systems r vulnerable, but that particular one is IMMUNE,
as distinct from the less robust systems.

We need health care providers to be precise n logically correct
in their thought processes; thay shoud take little pride in sloppy thinking.

The medical profession shoud strive for perfection of logical precision.
Its members shoud at least make an earnest effort.

If that system is indeed "immune" then FROM WHAT is it immune?

I get an uneasy feeling when I wonder
in what other (undetected) ways my physician has fallen into incorrect reasoning.

Before u condem me for my fonetic spelling again,
let me point out that I am trying to rip down the orthografic paradime,
to the extent that it is non-fonetic but I cannot do that
while using and perpetuating the old erroneous,
anti-logical spelling that we find in dictionaries.
My computer has already flagged my fonetic spelling in red;
I intentionally disregarded it. For many years n decades,
I used to spell the way u do, n I corrected my secretaries' spelling
(before computers). Having retired, I am liberated to do it logically

@OmSigDAVID,
Have you not tried putting your underpants on after your trousers?

YES; I have NOT tried that.

(Forgive me for being dense,
but I don 't understand your point.)

Maybe by a seance?
or if he appears in spirit form ?
Its probably not possible, in my opinion, unless the minister is sufficiently psychic*.

As to whether it is legal,
I have never been admitted to practice in California,
but without researching it, I offer only skepticism
that the deceased citizens of California have been prohibited
from marrying; (nor authorized, either).

How much are the annual dues in Densa, Dys ?

*Please excuse my deviation
from fonetic spelling, but if I wrote sykic,
too many people might not recognize what I mean.

@ossobuco,
I worked in immunology research with fellow immunology researchers studying the immune system and it's mechanisms and components of immunity. We wrote many papers.

Sorry ya don't like the science terminology.

I did not impugn the quality of your SCIENCE.

I am suggesting that all of u shoud endeavor to be rigidly logical.
The terminology shoud be reflective of your thought processes.

Do u object to that ?

Is the choice of terminology logically defensible?
