@tsarstepan,
Despite its luxury hotel context, I didn't feel at all intimidated by the hotel lobby, let alone actually stepping into the Burger Joint. Less then half the tables were full and there one had to order ones food (cash only) at the cashier's counter/kitchen.
I'd go back there again.

I'll have to admit--the adult happy meal a Steuben's in Denver is awfully good.
Fries, cheeseburger and an Oley or a PBR, $5 between 10 an 11 PM Wednesday.
The Steuben's food truck is good too--but it's not as good a deal and it doesn't have Oley or PBR.

How's the recoil on that ?
What sights do u use ?
@OmSigDAVID,
I'm going to assume Dys used a laser sight for a surgically terminal shot.

Have u ever tried that ?
If the barrel is not securely braced,
the laser jumps all over the place.
Its embarrassing.

somewhat of a dilemma, what is the proper protocol for what to wear when you're the center of attention at a cremation? Dark suit? Stetson hat with cowboy boots. white robe? should I avoid wearing any metal? I've tried googling and nothing. Is this a topic people avoid? why? are guests invited or is it like dry cleaning--drop off and pick up on tues? Seems silly to burn up good/new clothing, on the other hand there always seems to be a sale on men's suits. another question, I've never seen a Hallmark card announcing one's cremation, is there a protocol for that too? This is getting all too complicated. At this point in time I'm thinking just my brown Stetson, my good boots over my monkey socks and no announcements. As I understand it, my ashes will be in a plastic bag in a cardboard box not much larger than a shoe box, simply dropped from the Rio Grande Bridge at Taos, probably just Lady Diane and the Hospice therapist but their could be a party at the parking lot on the east side of the bridge, some cold beer and George Dickel bourbon but I imagine noone would show up for that.

Make it Maker's Mark and I'm there.
(George Dickel ain't bourbon.)
@Ticomaya,
(... and it's a "whisky".)
@dyslexia,
The best hamburger would be with friends.

Has anyone here tried a kangaroo burger? Should I venture there and give it a twirl?
@tsarstepan,
I say give it a whirl - I once tried kangeroo meat - without knowing it - it wasn't bad at all - most likely on how it is prepared.

Go for it. Be sure to take the Bay Ridge location though. That way if you start feeling jumpy you can escape to the (not so)wilds of Staten Island via the Verrazano.
Report back on how the burgers were.
Calling all Canadians? Have you the pleasure of trying Big Smoke Burger? Should I be waiting with baited breath for their grand opening later this year?
@tsarstepan,
There are 2 Big Smokes within walking distance of our office (one is literally behind our building, and I can see the roof above another from my desk). Good burgers and fries, but not the best in Toronto.
I think Burger's Priest is better

Quote:Ponying up $22.99'll getcha the infamous Quadruple 'C' or "Colossal Colin-Clogger Combo' which even for the most ambitious or emaciated of eaters is an exercise in pure gluttonous, mouth-stretching excess and includes:
* a 24 oz ground beef patty approximately the size of a baby's head
* 1/4 lb. of cheddar
* 1/4 lb. of bacon
* 2 fried eggs
* A small poutine (which, in any other restaurant would be a large)
* A large milkshake
@ehBeth,
Um ... that does not look good at all (the baby's head burger).
@Ticomaya,
I've never been there when anyone ordered one of those coronary colon cloggers, but their small burgers are great. Very well-sourced beef and very delicately handled.
I suspect it's mostly the 1:00 a.m. crowd coming from the rub and tug that orders the Quadruple C at Dangerous Dan's.

Quote:8. Lamb Burger at Morgane - So you thought the tiny neighborhood bistro (as opposed to the big brassy brasserie) was dead, huh? Even though located on Bedford in Williamsburg, Morgane still manages to seem out of the way, doubly so in the shady back yard. There enjoy a perfect lamb burger, pink in the middle and slabbed with goat cheese that's coarse-textured and tart. You'll may hallucinate you're standing on a hillside and talking to a shepherd. 340 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, 347-599-0699
