That's funny

So Obama's electoral victory, his early legislative success and his high approval ratings are attributed to what?

Personally, when I am getting my butt kicked, I would rather it be because of my opponent's impressive skills rather than my own incompetence.

Obama's campaign knew how to make Obama the vote of choice for many people that wanted to be part of any popular fad, I believe. In my opinion, the same forces that make many women wear flip-flops in the summer, or people carry a container of coffee when out somewhere, or wearing a pouch when on a walk, were similar to the forces that made so many people vote for Obama.

He was just marketed well, with the aid of a helpful media that knew his mass appeal to the young, the liberal, the minorities, the economically disadvantaged, and let us be honest and include the gays. Not all from each group, but I believe a majority.

What I believe is that if the S was going to hit the fan, with all the country's consumer credit and subprime mortgages, it might as well happen when that nice gentleman that was his opposition is not in the White House. The masses do not understand that the economic system is larger than the democratic voting process. The two need to work in a symbiotic relationship; not adversarially.

Someone forgot to tell the voting masses that one cannot have one's cake and eat it too.

Well, he's passed both the bills he asked to be passed so far, which were both contentious. I wonder what you guys think that is, if not legislative success?

Thought I'd let everyone know, in terms of Presidential elections, there's no do-over. You're going to have to wait four years. And considering the President's approval rating, he'd crush whomever the Republican's ran worse than he did McCain.

Just making sure we're all on the same page. Good day.

It's obvious that you have been educated by Government schools and that you believe everything they told you.

@Cycloptichorn,
Asking a Democratic Party led Congress pass a spending bill is NOT a legislative success. It is part of their normal process.

Nope, but I bet the threat to his presidency will come from within his own party.
