A garden omelette (mushroom, pepper, onion, tomato, spinach, plus cheddar) with an English muffin, potatoes, and some tea at Rosebud Diner. Yum!

We've got bagels and lox and alllllllll the fixins planned for tomorrow, along with some V8 to help with party recovery efforts.

Happy New Year!

went out and got 4 silicone baking thingies at Canadian Tire as my New Year's gift to myself - muffin pan, square baking pan, rosebud top muffin pan, and a variant of a silpat ... we'll see how it goes

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just brewed up a stein of Celestial Seasonings Nutcracker Sweet tea. Mulling over the breakie options. There are still some nice Montreal bagels in the fridge, and there's some nice smoked salmon and fresh cream cheese hmmmmm are there any capers around?
Chester called and I am going over there for artery clogging foods...his cooking makes my eyes roll with untold pleasure...
This is our usual new year's tradition and has been been for a while...then off to an afternoon of old geezer football.
dont be.
im so sick i couldnt eat much of it.
the whole reason for making a high fat high carb breakfast is because I am so sick i have not been able to eat much and being HUNGRY as hell, nasty juicy fat dripping bacon sounded wonderful.
I was hungry so I baked the rest of our halibut this morning with zucchini, tomatos & feta. Mr. J goes to the field today, so he just had cookies for breakfast.
