for breakfast? How do you prepare it?
I think I'd ask Swimpy for some of that real maple syrup <thud> to have with the baked squash. mmmmmmmm
1) big bowl of cereal, frseh fruit, toasted linseed, pecans and plain yoghurt
2)boiled egg, lox, brown whole-grain bread, butter, cheese, a little jam
3)a mug of coffee
carried us right through 'til 2:30 when we had our lunch/supper combo (fish & shrimps , salad, veggie, potatoes and apple sauce)

Coffee and smokes for me today, too.

chunky peanut butter with homemade strawberry jam on a heidi bun
a chunka 3 year old Cheddar
a beer stein of Earl Grey tea
I need energy to be ready to write an exam this afternoon
Good luck today. Mmm. Peanut butter.
I've just broken my fast with stuffed salmon and celery sticks.
Let's seeÂ…looks like a thick slice of salmon filet wrapped around a centre of baby shrimps, crab, rice, bread crumbs, butter, the tiniest amounts of red pepper and spices. Topped with a little fresh parsley and a slice of lemon.
Baked in a hot oven for just less than thirty minutes (needs a little longer than conventional baked salmon filets because of the stuffing I think).
Ambrosia.
wow!
I can't do the crustaceans anymore but I can imagine how wonderful that would be. I can imagine a small serving of that with fluffy scrambled eggs at a brunch. mmmmmmmmm
Yes. Really good.
Brunch. Now there's a concept I've ignored for too long. Time for a Sunday brunch with big comfy chairs, eggs benedict, the papers...I just need to coax Mr. Joe away from the house...
hmmmmmmm
Set's still in town. I wonder if we can lure Bo to a brunch ... and Mr. Joe!
Mr. Joe would roll his eyes and refuse to go. He's a little...difficult...unless it involves dining in the area,
golfing, boating and/or cottage.
Sigh.
I don't think I could entice him even if it were local.
I'm in though
This time, or the next when Setanta's in town. I would love it.
In the interim, why not a quick coffee at lunch or something? I'm steps from the Eaton Centre and lunch is at 1:00. Is that doable?
Still have my email?
I had raspberry tea this morning, followed by a banana, and couldn't resist some leftover spaghetti. I still eat like I'm in college when I'm only making breakfast for one.
i love cold spaghetti....
