Nope, can't afford to hunt. Not a MI resident (yet anyway), and the license for non-res is $150. Not worth it to go get skunked. I may go up north this weekend anyway and just scout for deer.

Ooh, that's a bit much for a non-resident permit.

Given the amount of deer roadkill I saw on the way to Birch Run in early October, I'd be amazed if it was possible to get skunked.

I had a little bit of pear crisp leftover from Thanksgiving and some tea for breakfast. It was not very filling so I went out a little while ago on a quest for something more substantial. (I brought turkey for lunch, and much as I enjoy turkey, it wasn't what I wanted for my mid-morning snack.) The wrap place around the corner just changed their name and their new menu had a teaser for breakfast burritos, so I went in to inquire. Apparently they only have them at the financial district location.

Drat!

So I went elsewhere for a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich. I brought it back and promptly spilt the fruit salad it came with on the floor; so I ate the sandwich and now I am having raisins for dessert.

Breakfast can be so needlessly complicated...

Started off well enough and ate the oatmeal and then I lost it and fried some potatoes along with onions and bacon...
