had a light breakfast of fruits, joghurt and cereal in the garden this morning . even though it heated up early, we were quite comfortable sitting in the shade of our trees. at noon went to the holiday inn for brunch and afterwards went to the theatre to see : "toddlers' revenge II" , a hilarious play. the theatre is in a wonderful location; it's in a former canoe club right next to the st. lawrence river. before and after the show and during intermission it"s nice being able to sit outside and look across the river to the u.s. side. all-in-all a great day. hbg

Oatmeal, which is the same as I have 9 out of 10 days. On the tenth day I spice things up with plain fat free yogurt with some blueberries or bananas mixed in. Once I got daring and ate a stack of waffles and sausages bathed in thick (genuine) maple syrup.

Whole wheat walnut raisin bread toast from my favorite bakery washed down with orange juice. May have a bowl of blueberries later.

I always feed small bits of the toast crust to my dogs, Maddy and Dolly, who wait patiently for their treats.
