Well Joeblow, on my cross country tour, if you are still interested, I can always stop by and make you some cinnamon buns Smile
Don't hold your breath though...gotta leave Australia first and I don't think that is going to happen for at least a year Razz

How did I get on the cinnamon-bun making list? Shocked

I'll make waffles, but I'm not a fan of yeast-based baking. Too much chemistry to go wrong.

I've had a stein of white-cranberry/strawberry juice. Good stuff. Making tea, contemplating the food options. Maybe some left-over clam/sausage chowder? Naaaah, but it's gonna be something warm. The freezing rain is buggin' me. Evil or Very Mad

It is 7:00 and I have rice pilaf cooking. It is making me hungry! The rice is for my husband's lunch...can't have him eating plain old sandwiches for lunch can I??? Whatever would his colleagues say?
So far I have had water and am about to pour a cuppa coffee Smile
Will eat....something....sometime.....perhaps soon!
And alright ehbeth...I will bring you some cinnamon buns then? Sound good? Good Smile
Oh and shall I send some sunshine your way? Got heaps of it here! Could use a lil rain in return, thanks Smile

I say that you, and JoeB, and I and the other A2K'rs of the female persuasion - in the Danforth-knowing zone - can get together over cinnamon buns and hot beverages whenever you get here.

Or maybe we go down to Bonjour Brioche for a bite.

Sounds good ehbeth....but don't make any plans on my account just yet...haven't even left Australia yet!
My husband and I are planning on working our way across Canada when we return home. We are West coasters but are keen to explore the East coast! My grandparents lived in Quebec for ages and ages and I fell in love with the Eastern townships.
So yea, it may be a few years off Wink

Croissant, scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, brownie and a pot of tea. Outside on the sidewalk, in the sun, with a view down the picturesque street leading down to the Janschurch ... nice.

One slice each of two different types of bread with butter. The bread was from a great, small bakery in Jaffery, NH. One is good old anadama, the other was.... sunseed bread? Something hippy-dippy like that. Good stuff.
