Familiar with the song "Banana Pancakes" by jack johnson? Well we have been listening to that cd for days and celebrated Saturday with, you guessed it, Banana Pancakes! Even pancake hating husband had one Wink

Pancakes with strawberries and Vermont maple syrup, fake sausage links and Pisani Prosecco.

I want to hire ehBeth as my personal chef.
Emmenthal was the kicker.

I thought it was the beer stein of tea you liked <grin>

Today it was a beer stein of Twining's Vanilla tea, with a sugar cube and a bit of milk. Sugar cubes always make tea more tea-timey.

Some more of that French Emmenthal (need to pick up another chunk today) - room temp, and a bit soft - with toasted cranberry sunflower rye bread. A shmeer of butter and a tiny drizzle of honey on the bread.

I think I am just a fan of your approach to eating. You seem to do it with a dilligence and fervor that most people lack.
You must have good genes.
