Well...sorta. But that was a year ago now. I do not have medical in Australia so have not been to the doctor for ages.
The elevated cholesterol was a new development. I put it down to all the stress I was under and all the pain meds. I am now meds free and zero stress so it has hopefully gone down some. Not that it is horribly high either. (5.8...I think 5.2 is supposed to be my upper limit)

That's a pretty short scale, ay S - so 5.8 is a pretty significant increase over a recommended upper limit of 5.2.

Vegan diets, as well as other very modified diets, are best under medical supervision. While you may have decreased your bad cholesterol, you also need to be sure that you're getting enough of the good cholesterol. Balance balance balance. Or as close to balance as you can get it.

Breakfast?

Golden Honey Instant Oatmeal with added bran. A lil milk, a biggish cup of English Breakfast tea. A small choco heart from Valentine's Day that I found in a cup on my desk.

I've been on a health kick for quite a long time now...when I was younger, I could have cared less about healthy food.

This morning I had fat free yogurt and a bowl of shredded wheat w/skim milk.

yea ehbeth....I am not the greatest vegetarian but I have been doing it since I was 18 and I am still alive Wink Maybe I have shortened my lifespan a lil but oh well, I could have done shortened it by doing drugs and drinking Wink At least I can say that I did it in good health?
Apparently my good cholesterol is good...so the doctor had said; just my bad cholesterol is well...a lil bad Razz
As for breakfast, the usual all bran, wheat germ, flax seed with soy formula followed by...you guessed it....Coffee!!
