if i could have one a day AND get all my nutritional needs from it... i would eat it and feel like the best fed girl in the world.
yogurt and cashews
i hate when i get any kind of nut (esp. cashews). i tell myself i won't eat the whole can, and it's always one of the first things to disappear.
same thing happens when i buy milano cookies
dark rye toast (toasted til it was just about a cracker)
smoked salmon and spinach mousse (the dogs think I should buy that, and share it, more often)
a big ole cup of Lady Grey tea
everyone is eating salmon but me!
mom is teaching me next week how to prepare it.
Salmon's good stuff.
It's not my personal fav fish, but I think it's pretty easy to deal with because it doesn't fall apart as easily as some others. I either grill it or poach it. Season it with salt/pepper/lemon - serve with a carb - I'm good to go - and the dogs are delirious.
ice cream and the cake batter I'm working with now. I'll go bury my head in the sand now.
It's Superbowl Day though, so junk food is a requirement?
more dark rye and the last of the salmon and spinach mousse
good stuff
a big cup of Chai
I think I'll have more Chai and look around for some hazelnut wafers
Searching the kitchen for a hangover remedy.
French toast and tea. [No, not as a hangover cure.]
I made an awesome turkey and cheese quiche this morning that I shared with my across the street neighbor. She goes to work at 9, so i just knocked on her door around 8:30.
maple and brown sugar oatmeal
A pear, soy milk, carrot cake.
I should have saved room for a paczek, if they even exist in this Godforsaken idyllic town.
I had nothing since I had easy cheese spread on homemade wheat bread real late last night. I wa so bad. I should have just slept and waited until morning!! DANGGIT.
Scrambles & sausages.
Too much coffee.
I made enough Joe to fill my thermos pitcher for work.
Then Ol' Fumblefingers here dropped the dang thing on the way into the
building. Scratch one thermos. Looks like I'm buying cafeteria coffee
today.
Thermos PITCHER? Of COFFEE?
Holds - or held - about three mugs worth.
Sorry if I sounded bitchy or something.
a slice of deli ham, a corner of swiss cheese, a handful of cherry tomatoes, a little bit of hummus, a couple seeded spelt cracker, a few soy nuts...
I was making Mr B a lunch to take to work and by the time I'd snitched a bite of this and a piece of that, and a few of these, and a couple of those, I decided it had better be considered breakfast.
