That's a once-in-a-year craving I have: sour hering!

I had scrambled eggs w/sprinkling of shichimi togarashi (a japanese mix of sesame seeds, chili pepper, 'spices') wrapped in hot tortillas, a bit of sour cream on the side...
oh, and coffee after.

Hehe dagmar, what really freaks them out is
when you cut some red beets into a hering salad.

After a rough night, there is nothing better than a
sour herig breakfast.

Haha Cinne, I believe so too.Wink

George, my whole day would be shut, if I eat your
breakfast. I'd be too sluggish and tired afterwards.

Today back to normal:

2 whole wheat toasts with cottage cheese, chives and cilantro.
1 Espresso

The caffeine would kill me.

I had cereal and Naked Juice.

CJ & Cinne

Caffeine doesn't seem to bother me much. I don't know why, but I can
have a cup of strong coffee even late in the evening and still fall asleep
without a problem.

As for the eggs & sausage, I've been doing the Atkins thing -- or at least
my version of it. I should get my cholesterol level checked next time I
have a checkup. But I'm in no hurry for that.

Please go and have it checked George. A friend of mine
is a cardiologist and he sees tons of "Atkins victims".

I need a strong coffee in the morning, but don't drink
any throughout the day, unless I'm really tired than
I'll have another Espresso after lunch.

I never touch caffeine, unless it's in chocolate. I have so much energy naturally, and caffeine just makes me too hyper.

Scrambled egg whites are good.

SB is much more cardio friendly than Atkins. There's nothing wrong with eggs - they increase your total cholesterol but its due to an increase in HDLs so it's ok. There are better protein sources than sausage though. How do you feel about Canadian bacon?
