Paula, I do find it odd that you follow me out of the insult thread. Why?

Because your fun to tease and I know you are a good sport. But I should keep my insults/snippy remarks there. No ill intention meant.

I am in a very old hotel in Brussels today. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage and very good fruit salad.

It's only 9:40 or so here so I haven't made it to the breakfast table, so far.

But I have had some coffee and am contemplating a boiled egg, one piece of toast, more coffee and a V-8 with lemon juice, (half V-8 and half lemon...........yummy).

I made a decision, it's banana or bust.

Subway was late, so I missed the hotel breakfast today.
So it was cups of darjeeling and mini-anisette candies and water til lunch.
Pffffffooooooey!

Okay.
<grrrrrr>
I'm back to half a grapefruit, one piece of dry toast and black coffee.
<arrrghh>

Must lose the pumpkin pie tied to my ass.
Must lose the Turkey Gravy sliding down my outsized thighs.
Must drop the three egg ham and cheese omelettes off my waistline.

<sips coffee>

<Uses index finger to get last three crumbs of toast >

<stares at the empty saute pan hanging in the kitchen dimness>

<heads out into the day.>

Swimpy, try taking Omega-3 fish oil tablets. To heck with oatmeal - it isn't any good if you don't load it up with butter and/or cream and brown sugar... Wink

I have been on a statin for several years. On a lark, I tried fish oil to see if it might help with joint pain. Guess what? My cholesterol dropped another 20 points. Joints still ache though. Sad

I really don't hate the oatmeal as much as I sounded. It has worked pretty well in lowering my LDL and triglycerides. I'd rather get my fish oil from a nice piece of salmon, thanks.
