Trust me, you don't want that multi-grain bagel.
I'd rather eat a Wheaties box. Not a box of Wheaties, mind you -- a Wheaties box.

First bus goes here to downtown. Second bus goes downtown to work. Between buses, I'll grab a scrambled egg on a bagel from the little cafe. At work, I'll do the caffeine-intake thing with large quantities of cold green tea mixed with white cranberry juice.

That's breakfast, every week day. Until my job/bus route changes...

Before marriage, I got breakfast in bed.
After we were married I either made it myself or got nothing.

This morning, it's a holiday weekend ya know, a three egg omelette made with (avert your eyes if you keep kosher) Pepper Jack Cheese and Off-the-Bone Ham. Big cups of expresso and steamed milk while reading the New York Times.

All my good resolutions have come to naught -- coffee and doughnuts. (But I did go for a three-mile jog through the nearby woodland.)

I had a banana, and I'm feeling quite proud that I didn't devour anything sweet.
