hehehehehehe

and i was worried about that pic of Francis Bacon being too too obvious!

well, our company moved into new offices today - so there was a huge spread of pastries, bagels, fruit, juices, coffee, hot chocolate etc. yummmmmm - and the most amazing cream cheese for the bagels - made 'em better than the pastries. or at least, that's my story.

Doh! Slip sliding away as I skulk, baconless, on the greasy floor...

This morning I had a totally weird breakfast, chunk of cheddar cheese, some fasthardening sourdough with dill hearthbread, and some guacamole I needed to make because the avocados were There. Not quite the right mix, somehow. Plus, it tasted not quite right with coffee.

http://www.francis-bacon.cx/animals/undog.html warning - sensitive may be offended

So, listen, I love bacon. It is not very good for one. I can hardly stand it. Hardly ever actually cook it myself, the fat is too visually in your face. Thus if I am forced on occasion to eat breakfast out...baaaaaaaaaaaaacon.

then there is pancetta. I do love thin sliced pancetta sizzled. Hard to cook by self because I will eat it all before it gets added to recipe.

Tend to not buy these items. Well, hardly ever.

i love bacon - especially peameal bacon. it's not so fatty. nice lean pork, pickled, and rolled in peameal. mmmmmm - grilled with cheddar on an english muffin for breakfast - it's fairly close to paradise. especially if there is some freshly squeezed carrot-orange juice nearby.

Jeez - you must have to squeeze a carrot hard to get the juice out of it Question Twisted Evil

i don't think we're particularly lecture-y here, Mikey. Breakfast is 'as you like it'.

I always liked this thread, 'across the road', as it really helped to put a face (and belly) on the people I met on other threads.

I've had far too much tea today. Gettin' a bit jittery. Lunch better happen soon.

Scrambled eggs, probably with some blue-vein cheese, on soy and linseed bread, toasted.

A very large glass of carrot/apple/celery/ginger juice. I don't have to squeeze the carrots - I invested in a juicer! Razz
