Nice to see you're still on that health kick, Wilso! Razz

I finished the ham yesterday, so now can go back to regular breakfast - cheese and Vegemite on toast and several cups of tea today.

Hmmmmmm - think I might go and see if there are any ham specials in the supermarket????

Ah, I have found some fresh strawberries today, I
couldn't find any for weeks there, and the frozen ones
are just altogether tooooo disgusting, they are mush! Mad
I like to put fresh strawberries in my oatmeal along with
honey and a bit of fat free milk Sad
Gone are the days when I could drink coffee all day long
and still plop into bed and go straight off to sleep. Unlike
so many of you lucky folks still can. If I drink coffee after
noon - I will not get to sleep till heaven only knows when.
Back in my 30's and 40's - I drank it day and night....not
quite sure when it began to turn on me. But - now I am
used to getting up and getting going......well, as much as
you could call what I do - getting going Laughing Laughing
Today I did the dishes, mopped the kitchen floor, looked
for a bank statement, and opened the mail... now that is
one heck of an exciting day here, eh? Being disabled is
so weird. When I look back at all the things I did in one day
- one little 24 hours... it really was phenomenal! As I look
back on it. But I remember that even then - I never could
seem to get all that I wanted to get done - finished, I had
such amazing expectations of me. So now they say that
coffee is good for you do they? I wonder why they keep
changing their minds - those medical persons - first eggs
are bad for you, then not. Coffee is bad for you, then not
I always drank hot tea from the age of 10, I think and
the medical experts used to say, it causes hardening of
the arteries - only now they have altered their opinion
once again --- what do you know, now it is good for you!
I do have a theory... you know what my theory is? My
theory is that not one of our medical experts know what
they're talking about.... they're just nuts...trying to convince
us to alter our eating habits every time you turn around.
AND they don't know a darned thing for certain, either!!
Well, except for maybe that cigarrettes really are quite
bad for you.... good grief what a crazy world we live in.

At rest pulse of 56 bpm and blood pressure 110/65. I couldn't do any better than that if I actually exercised (which I don't).

Wilso's a lucky fella.

I had Cheerios with raisins (special breakfast made by Brian for my final exam day) and tea. And then after he went to bed I ate one of his birthday cookies. Shhhhh, don't tell!

Must me that Kanahooka water. (Used to make pipes out of cans, but never hookahs. You folks are pretty ingenious down there.)

And I got so excited I forgot to report my mac & cheese, tea and cookie breakfast.

Had a yummy dinner last night out with the folks. Italian. Have you ever had fried olives? I was surprised how good they were.

Yogurt is good, and good for you. An excellent combination.

I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon for second-breakfast.

For tea I had candy. And another couple of cookies. I'm so bad.

And then my friend called. She's taking me out for sushi for dinner! Yum yum yum!
