Banana bread with cream cheese, and tea. In the Minnie Mouse mug today instead of Donald. Not as cranky today.

I think maybe what I really needed was to talk about all the things that were upsetting me and then to sleep for a loooooooooong time, cause I feel a lot better. I still don't like this city, but I'm okay about not liking it. And I think I believe myself when I say it will be okay.

Very Happy

Some kind of eggy thing, many cups of tea. More tea may help. Very tempted to crawl under a desk and nap a bit.

Thanks, C... er, Q!

I'm glad I got some rest too. And I'm about to go back to sleep early on a Friday night because sleep is good.

I had an egg and cheese sandwich on whole wheat for dinner. Comforting and yummy! (With ketchup. Don't tell the other chefs, they might lynch me...)

mc, remember that you're there for school. you can always leave after you finish.

ate a pizza hut large edge pizza with the works. had a long night with the boys, and nothing works better for me afterwards than some kind of "junk" food. good thing i know the regional mananger, had him call his people to make the pizza special for me at 8:30 this morning. ah life is good.

pueo, When you enjoy that much influence with the regional manager of pizza hut, life can't get any better! You know that old saying about winning a man's heart through his stomach. Wink c.i.

eating a jar of nori right now. specifically:

kawaketsu teriyaki nori-seasoned roasted seaweed-algues grilees assaisonne.

weird label.

That sounds like a mouthful in more ways than one!

So far, just coffee with honey for me.

Goodness! I've never seen nori sold except in sheet form. Sounds good, I think...

I made belgian waffles and bacon and tea for breakfast. Dinner is going to be a surprise -- Brian's turn.

I usually like surprises.

Yeah, I think I may well leave right after school is over. We have a lease, though. Need to find sublessees. And I was hoping to take the program in Bread. But I don't think I want to stick around that long, quite honestly. I think this city is smothering me. And it's so dirty and overcrowded. And the stinky economy isn't helping either of us.

Brian doesn't want to go back to Boston. I think we may be heading further south. (I told a New Yorker that once, and he asked in all seriousness why I would leave the city for New Jersey. I think that pretty much sums up what I don't like about it here.)

the nori is in sheet form, individually wrapped. approx. two inches by four with four sheets per wrap. sort of like nori finger food. it's addicting.

Hubby made breakfast today -- it was his idea to invite company for breakfast and he volunteered to do the cooking. So...we had pancakes and french toast and scrambled eggs and bacon and sausages and toasted english muffins and mini danish (those came from the bakery -- he's not that good, yet) and home fries and he made banana sauce and apple/cinammon sauce to put on the french toast, too. We all ate entirely too much. If he'd make breakfast every day, I might switch off the cake thing.

Dammit! I had the last of the Christmas chocolates for breakfast today - I wanted them out of the house - no moral fibre, that is I - none!

hmmmmm Setanta had a 3 egg and bacon and home fries and toast with jam breakfast with an extra side order of sausage and another side of home fries. i ordered the 3 egg and sausage and home fries and toast with jam breakfast. I made a valiant effort, but couldn't finish my breakfast. Setanta, warrior that he is, was successful in his efforts.
