I have no preference as to whether the league is 12 or 14. Your call, Tico. Gargamel and George's son expressed interest. The latter doesn't hang out on A2K and therefore might need an invite of some kind via email.
P.S. I may have already suggested that the year-end play-offs include 8 of us in order avoid byes.

Okay, though I told Tico otherwise, I'm in! 14 teams! Do you know what this means? It means even Mike Fontenot might get drafted!

No, it means George will have a lot more trouble streaming pitchers!

I'll be there. Clive (owner of the Jamaican Me Crazy hockey team) is interested, too.

Tell Clive to sign up.

REMEMBER: Live draft is this Saturday afternoon.

We will have 14 teams, it appears, head-to-head ... so draft accordingly.

@Ticomaya,
Looks like I'll be autodrafting--I'm comanaging a friend's team who drafts live the same Saturday afternoon.

But I'm warning y'all: I was the only autodrafter in my league last year, and though initially ridiculed, I finished first.

@Gargamel,
Autodrafting is usually what happens in this league. My pre-draft rankings are set, and I fully intend to let the computer to the heavy-lifting Saturday since I will be at a baseball game.

I will be there live, at least for the 1st couple or 3 rounds. I actually did some research this year in hope of repeating as champion. I have put together a shopping list of players I would like to have in hope of repeating as champion. I am due, for once to get higher than 7th or so in the draft picking order. and put me in a position to repeat as champion.
Did I mention I was the champion last year?
Gargamel and Clive say they are in, but Yahoo still says that are just the 12 of us.
Only 4 days left, guys.

@realjohnboy,
I let the computer pick mine in football and the Owls did okay. I'll probably do the same thing in baseball but if we're home, I'll check in to see what's going on.

Do Gargamel and Clive know that they need to sign up at the Yahoo site?

Hmmm, I wonder who was champion last year?

@mysteryman,
It's automatic. But you should go into Draft Central and arrange players, if you don't like how the computer has them set. You do this before the draft starts and then it will pick in order of what you've got set, assuming of course no one else has your guy.

E. g. your list is
1. Joe
2. Fred
3. Steve
4. Milton
5. Dave
and you pick third. If Joe's not taken, he'll be automatically selected for you. If he is, then you get Fred and of course if they're both gone, you get Steve. And you can do this rearranging even if Milton is #1 according to Yahoo.

@jespah,
Yeah, MM. You can let the computer at Yahoo do all of the picking for you. You need to do nothing. But if there is a player you would really like to have, or one you don't want to have, you can tweak the list. Most folks here go for letting the computer make the picks, taking the next available highest ranked player for your team. At the end you will have to check your roster to make sure you haven't ended up with 3 shortstops and no catchers.
The Feb 22nd (I think) cover of the New Yorker was apropos: showing that nice pumped-up-on-steroids man A-Rod signing autographs for equally pumped up on steroids children.

That was profound, Osso.
In the same issue of The New Yorker was this cartoon. A broadly smiling lion is face to face with a zebra. The zebra says "I give up. What's black and white and red all over."
The Rednecks are going to devour all of you this season.
