I am certainly not criticizing, Osso. There are so many strategies we can employ here. I liked SB because it was a category of its own and because, if my guys were good at it, it might lead to R (Runs). The trade-off is CS. I am also not as wedded to it as I once was.

I picked up a middle reliever for the Hld stat.

I had my eye on one and then dashed him for Bruney, who is troubled again. Between faltering Rivera and Bruney, I'd too much invested. Or so I thought.

Well, the crystal ball is looking really murky this week. No matter. Here is how the standings will look tomorrow morning:
1) Fbaezer's Prima will lose finally but will be firmly in 1st with a .647 record;
2) George's Ipswich Hands win but fall to .556 and 3rd place;
3) Foxy's Hooters lose, sliding to .538 and 4th;
4) Gargamel's Tubas blow by the Gushies to claim 2nd at .564;
5) Jose's Gushies have a bad week and drop to .508 and 6th;
6) McGentrix's Skoalman continue to rise: .515 and 5th;
7) Jespah's B-Pups hang on to 7th at .492;
8) in a tie with Johnboy's 'Necks for 7th at .492;
9) Alex's Herons fly south to 11th with .459;
10) Tico's Maniacs creeps up a notch to 9th at .477;
11) Osso's Paws stumble to .446 and 12th;
12) ElStud's Gerbils claw to 10th with .462;
13) Mysteryman's Firefighters head south to 14th at .417;
14) JPinMilw's Can of Corn escape the cellar at .429 - good for 13th.

Don't count me out. My matchup is close. Many games today.

This week it was mostly just a few managers swapping places with the team next to them. At the beginning the Firefighters seemed almost as invincible as the Premiatas but do we see a crack in the Premiata armor now? There's still a lot of season left. And do we look for the Firefighters to now make their move? How did the Owls hold on to third place after a bit of a drubbing from Jes's ankle nippers? And does it seem that all those who seemed perpetually stuck on the bottom are now moving up? Finally, RJB's crystal ball stilll needs a spot cleaned off here and there but is holding up pretty well.

Been waiting for Tico and the Skoalmen to move up, considering their rosters...

Speaking of rosters, the Rednecks this year seem to be dealing with an awful lot of injuries. Another one of my guys was carried off the field yesterday. I only have 1 on DL but 3 others limping in that direction.

I have been meaning to ask this. If you go to Players on the Yahoo League page, one of the options is something like "Can Not Cut." I have one guy there; McGentrix, for example, has four. What's that all about?
