Alas ... not to be.

Didn't we tie though? There for awhile you were well ahead of me.

One thing to give us hope is that fbaezer's average has been gradually dropping. Unfortunately so has mine. Sad

A fine summary, though I take issue with item #1. Mark my words: PFM falls to the Tubas this week.

We don't depend on Soria THAT much! Smile

The way Cruz has been pitching I don't think you'll miss Soria that much.

We had some close matchups going into games on Saturday. Today looks a lot different. Some less then competitive matches now.
I have tweaked the numbers (including, for example, taking a point away from one player in the IP category and giving it to the other player because the latter has 3 SP's today vs none for the former).
I see a pretty big rearrangement in the standings this week:
1) Fbaezer will be at .771 and remains in 1st;
2) George at .539 drops to 4th;
3) Tubas at .522 dip to 5th;
4) Gushies at .544 move up to 3rd;
5) Foxfyre at .553 jumps to 2nd;
6) Johnboy at .469 slumps to 8th;
7) Osso at .452 drops all the way to 11th;
8) Alex at .465 loses a step to 9th;
9) Jespah at .500 jumps to 6th;
10) McGentrix at .478 follows her up to 7th;
11) JPinMilw at .408 moves to the cellar - 14th;
12) Mysteryman at .421 moves down a notch to 13th;
13) ElStud at .443 moves up a notch to 12th;
14) Tico at .461 jumps up to 10th - avoiding having to face his greatness Fbaezer from the basement.

Well, it's now about 7-11-1. Thought I had a chance earlier today, but Trevor Cahill seemed determined to ensure I lose.

There is a lot of parity between the bottom 13 teams, but I think its time to break out the voodoo dolls or something to deal with PremiataForneriaM.

And RJB's crystal ball was just a tad cloudier this week. We could chip in for some Windex to clean it up? Smile

The Tubas gave PFM a hell of a fight:

But Premiata won again (with a homage to King Crimson Greinke):

OK, now that I've moped about for a while, declining to even worry about what stunt Lackey will pull today..

I'm ready for PFM videos anew.

I don't think I did that badly. Fox. I got 6 to 14 almost 100% right. George did ever so slightly better (or less worse) than I expected and hung on to second place by 1/2 a game. That messed me up on 2 to 5.

No you didn't do badly at all RJB, and I could have misread last week to this week that you did just a tad worse this week than last week too. I am rather impressed with your prognosticating skills actually and am just teasing.
