@George,
Sorry George, but I'm really curious, my friend has a tatoo in Latin, she said the meaning was "with patience and firmness, and by god's blessing of sincere intention
and hard work", I'm not sure if she got it right, that's why I asked what's the translation is...

the tatoo is: "Partienter et fortiter, et cum benedictione Dei de sincera intetione et labore", could you tell me the meaning?

@Lisee,
"Partienter et fortiter, et cum benedictione Dei de sincera intetione et labore"
Patientier --> (not partienter) patiently
et --> and
fortiter --> strongly
et --> and
cum --> with
benedictione --> blessing
Dei --> of God
de --> from
sincera --> sincere
intentione --> (not intetione) design, purpose, intention
et --> and
labore --> work

@George,
This made me look back at my translation.
I said "laborae" for "of work", but it should be "laboris".

@George,
George, I was recently in an abusive marriage. My divorce will be done in April and I am considering a small tattoo. Id like to get "heal" in Latin. I've looked on line but wanted to ask u to. Would "sana" be correct?

@dfs029,
This is how it is written in the Latin Vulgate Bible (Romans, 12:21)

noli vinci a malo sed vince in bono malum

@George,
Hi George,

Can you translate in latin please? "What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger."

@jayb,
Unicus es means "you are the only one", especially in the sense of unique or
one of a kind. I'd suggest unus et solus. Note that gender
makes a difference. Unus and solus is used to describe a male. For a female,
use una et sola.

@George

I've been researching the translation of "only god can judge me"
i just want to know, which one is right:

-Deus solus me iudicare potest
or
-Deus unus me iudicare potest

Thank You!
