@urs53,
Same as Eorl, but I feel more like 21 - Just old enough to be legal and smart enough to get away with it! Wink

@devriesj,
My guess is that the running average age of a2kers is between 64 and 71.

@cicerone imposter,
I disagree. I don't think it's nearly that high, but perhaps closer to 50.

However, if you sample the average age of regular A2k/Abuzzards, it might be late 50s to 60.

@Ragman,
My guess is based on the simple fact that most active a2kers are long time retirees; wayyyy past 65. LOL

@cicerone imposter,
Actually...I don't think I've observed that to be most...but I have seen quite a few. I've seen a few report back here...those are the regulars..however, these long time over-60 veterans who report in here don't make up as big a part of the A2K population as you seem to think.

@cicerone imposter,

Did you see this post by Robert on page 3 (or4?) ?

Quote:
I'm 28. I'd say the most active users are typically middle-aged and above, while a lot of our more casual users and guests tend to be younger (mainly because internet traffic overall tends to be younger).

I follow a variety of demographic surveys on a2k users, they aren't usually very accurate, and I have no idea how they get their data sometimes but here's one you might find interesting. Take it with a grain of salt because it's only trying to measure the US users, and is not very accurate at that (e.g. I know that the total US users they report for able2know is less than 30% of the real number).

http://www.quantcast.com/able2know.org/traffic/sites#demographics

I believe the data comes from ISPs for this one.

@Green Witch,
GW, No, I didn't, but did take a peek at it just now. Boy, am I way off the beat'n path. I'm gonna have to re-evaluate my perceptions about the age of a2k participants wayyyyy down.

Thanks for sharing Robert's post/link; Asians? LOL

@cicerone imposter,
scroll back. I indicated earlier about 50 yrs ..plus or minus 5 yrs.\

However, the casual users of A2k..could be 25-30

Not like that's anything to brag about.
