Does anybody know if there is a museum of rooms through the ages? I am sure one exists in the UK somewhere, but I can't find it on the internet.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

There are probably many more doing it either in one museum or at several different places

In this website you can get info on living conditions such as the houses people lived in during ancient times in the Greek and Roman Empires.

@carrie,

Victoria & Albert Museum, Knightsbridge, London has a permanent design exhibition which could be so described.
