None of the racial strife I've witnessed and experienced has been related to slavery. Even if blacks were to "get over" slavery, the modern day strife would still exist.
My opinions on how I'm treated as a half Asian in modern day is not based on the past history, and my grandparents were actually put in camps. No, my opinion on modern day relations are based on events happening right now.
Having said all that, I think you're way off base making such broad generalizations about a group, and I could give a damn what the color of your skin is.
