I don t believe that chicks do it.

Yeah they do. The women who know their stuff usually want to show it off and they may do it either cattily or snottily or with humor. But I'll agree that the delivery is somewhat different than it is with the guys.

@spendius,

Well, in truth I would have picked you to be a guy as easily as I picked FOW to be a guy.

So true re the singers, dancers, reality shows etc......add gymnastics to that list....as it is a sure thing that hubby will groan and moan and feign utter disinterest should such be selected on the TV. (But he watches. And I bet you do too.)

A thousand pardons, effendi. I still want to know why Barndon was so certain you're a man though... sorry, it happens to be what I found most interesting in this (I'm quite sure so very) fascinating thread of yours.

Only guys a bit slow on the uptake. I used to strut a bit but I got dropped in the **** everytime. I hide now or at least keep a low profile.

Well I must admit that when Kay Burley used her position as a Sky Newsreader to get on the amateur skating I did look up from my book when her partner got her on his shoulders and floated her gently towards the camera gusset first with the massed violins in C major.

I think it was her ambition to do that. I think she used her influence and did all that practicing for no other reason. It was very good. She oneupwomaned every other newsreader. The men especially.

She comes from my neck of the woods.

@parados,
Your view of scents is in the dark ages. When I was a kid the use of soap was considered homosexual for males. I am from a culture that believes pornography is wrong. In England several cultures are much more against pornography Caribean, Asian,Italian, Irish catholic etc. You are making the assumption that all cultures view sex the same. Basically it is considered like paying for sex or being unfaithful. Heres a fact for you.Around 30% of males arent stimulated by pornography. We are all different.
I could of course be of the boysfood generation. I am quite literate so the low standard of writing would leave me unsatisfied.
Basically Its the same principle as builders living in houses that are falling down. My dad was a mechanic but hated cars. I did have a difficult relationship with him.

@spendius,
I'm sure losing your love is a great loss to womankind. The trouble is until the bitter and cynical boring part. It was wonderful.

I can t say anything about England,
inasmuch as my knowledge thereof is limited
to the Heathrow Airport; admittedly, I did not see anyone
kidding around there.

In America typical inter-male interchanges go somewhat
along these lines.
Company arrives for dinner, maybe a holiday like Christmas:
Host: Hi, Jack! How 's it going at work ?

Jack answers, in a general way, and includes a joke.

Host addresses Jack 's response including a counter-joke,
that indirectly includes ad hominem invective
implying that host woud have been clever enuf to avoid
whatever error into which Host implies that Jack fell.

This banter goes back n forth cyclically like a tennis ball,
ended only by natural death of one of the participants.

I think all mammals rut; ( I m not sure if the beavers do; or the chipmonks ).

It has always transcended my comprehension
Y anyone is interested in dancing. It appears
to be movement that accomplishes nothing,
except presumably some mild muscular exercise.
Its obviously harmless, but a pointless waste of time n energy.

Its very illogical ( tho harmless ).

Something that has always impressed me
as being exceptionally strange, almost touching the weird,
is ballet dancing. Some consider it to be graceful; maybe.
It seems like going to a lot of trouble for that. Justified ????

@OmSigDAVID,
That sort of behaviour does happen in England, But it is seen as lower class and vulgar. People who debate things listen to radio 4. And ask respectfully for things.
It is a false world, but a gentle one of ivory towers. And cricket.

@OmSigDAVID,
You are showing a much gentler side here, where your honesty is coming thru. I love dancing. You get endorphins like runners do. All cultures dance. Native Americans for instance. basically the body exercising feels good.
To talk to you in your native tongue. Hi hows work? You must be gay. I haven't even watched ballet in my life, you faggot.
You haven't told me how women behave.

Further evidence you aren't hetero male. You are so caught up in your culture you wouldn't look at porn as a kid but so out of step you would act like a homosexual when it comes to scents? We know you don't follow the crowd and like to create waves so I don't buy your being a good little Irish Catholic boy that always wanted to be a priest.

Gotta be honest with you, Fount...

...I have had a suspicion for a long while that there are several different people posting under your screen name.

Your posts are so different from day to day...and from post to post...both in tenor and in composition, I find it hard to accept that there is just one person involved.

I also though you might not actually be English. Your sound is not right. And I noticed in this post that you said, "I live in England" rather than "I am English."

So...are we dealing with just one person here?

If "YES"...are we dealing with just one personality...or multiple personalities?

It does seem as if more than one person is posting under "Fountofwisdom". Maybe a husband and wife posting under the same member account.

I surmise that u r just free associating here.
Parts of your response appear to lack sincerity.
I suspect that u do not desire a reply to your post.
