@The Pentacle Queen,
Fact: for my age. I am closer to 50 than 40. You reckoned I was 18 or 19 you sweet thing. You make me sound pompous now. I only want to change the world a little. If it makes you feel better hate me as much as you like. I had hoped we'd get along.

@Fountofwisdom,
Oh god this getting awful.
Fount, I believe Dag's probably right.
There is a certain way of presenting your ideas which will earn you more respect than all this whining and screaming.
Thats going to be something you will learn.
Now stop playing the tragic hero, stop the 'me me me' and learn to respond to others in a more mature manner.

Then, you will discover the true beauties of A2K... it will be worth it.

@Fountofwisdom,
Fountofwisdom,
You twice blamed Ragman for remarks that were actually made by other people. Ragman is a decent guy and he probably enjoys your contributions to his "progressive rock" thread.

Fount, I changed from using male to female pronouns
in reference to yourself, because someone intimated
that u were female. I accepted that at face value.
I also discerned and discern female elements to your posted personality.

In theory, it is possible that u r immature enuf to have several
people posting in your screen name, or that u r so unfortunate a soul
as to be afflicted with multiple personalities, as some have opined,
but I deem either of those possibilities to be very improbable.

From your posts, especially including the fact that u chose to
raise this question, it appears that u have gender identity issues
on your mind. Such a question as this is alien to the minds of
masculine males (in reference to themselves).

I perceived femininity somewhere in your nature.
From the fact that u have raised this issue, I surmise
that either u have trans-gender or homosexual desires or ideation,
most probably a somatic male desiring change to female
or a male with homosexual interests and an effeminate personality.

Frustrations therewith may well be the source of the anger
that u have manifested in your posts elsewhere that were not related to gender.

In the future, do u wish to be addressed by male or female pronouns ?

@OmSigDAVID,
David...you are right. It is not a necessary conclusion.

But with an IQ of 160...she should be able to construct a sentence that doesn’t have that ambiguity.

By the by, since this thread is just about done…I just discovered that you are from NYC. How is it that you have never joined us for coffee, a drink, or just some park time for discussion?

@Fountofwisdom,
let's see at 58, I might be considered immature for continuing on with my involvement with this thread, but that would be too easy. I also watch car wrecks too.

Seriously, I don't see abuse..but I do see what I call heat and criticism. The fact that you haven't YET revealed your gender makes it annoying . What I object to I think here is feeling manipulated for the benefit of your "study". Especially when I think of a possibility that you could've been on A2K prior to this doing this same sort of debate with, say, the topuic of having sex with minors or some such hot-button topic. Not saying you did this, but that sort of dynamic happens all-too-frequently.

@wandeljw,
true, that comment was not me. It was some other pathetic creature.

Thanks, Wandel. I certainly do enjoy FOW contributions to the Progressive thread.

@Ragman,
It definitely comes across as more of a 'game' than a study.

@Intrepid,
Thats hedging your bets a bit> I admire the fact you were cautious and took a methodical and scientific approach. What exactly are feminine tendencies? Am I metrosexual like David Beckham. Maybe camp like David Bowie. Transvestite. Do I buy shoes? maybe cry at movies?

@dagmaraka,
i gather you have neither much education /nor much experience.You do not have a lot of self confidence.

Some interesting assumptions none of which are correct. A trifle patronising. I have never been nasty to you. Why are you being nasty to me? I enjoy amateur psycho analysis as much as the next watcher of Oprah, however I believe if you can't say anything nice about someone then you shouldn't say anything. I wish you well.

@Intrepid,
Touche a subtle and amusing example of repartee. I take it I am at least a success in that department.

@aidan,
i think that is the plot of Hi Fidelity by Nick Hornby. Or the film of the same name. If you ever you to London Try the music section at Hackney Library. The women behind the counters there even know catalogue numbers, although I accept I am an anorak about it. Which is considered a male trait.

i always find this argument on an open forum amusing, if i went into a cafe, standing behind a curtain and invited a bunch of perfect strangers to guess my gender, i'd expect to get all sorts of responses and i'd make damn sure i could handle them before i attempted the experiment

interesting you'd mention oprah, some of your posts make me think you might write those god awful "chicken soup for the soul" type manuals

@Frank Apisa,
I mentioned it once as an example. About a week ago. For some reason you are behaving as though I should be ashamed of the fact. I AM NOT. I spent years apologising for being better at things than people. Deliberately losing to make then feel good. I NO LONGER DO THAT. You are apparently more obsessed with my IQ than I am.

If Fount truly meant this, she'd have to keep quiet in most of the threads in which she participates.

Ask her if the advice applies to people dissing Americans!
